and how do you make it so the pillars don’t push into the cake itself. Also what is the best storage and transportation mode for said cake.

Go to Michael’s crafts. They have all the stuff you will need – not just regular dowels they are cake dowels. Heart shaped cake molds and a three tier cake doesn’t sound too difficult with the right equipment. Homemakers make two tier cakes all the time.
They will also sell you the cake decorating stuff you will need to make it pretty. You can do this.
